This is a perfect song for a day when one is coming to terms with one’s first quarter century on the planet; what one has done, learned, felt, fucked up, people you moved without knowing it, people who crushed you without knowing it.  Pile in what one has excelled at, feeling like God for a second, losing God in the name of knowing higher realities, juicing rights of passage with idiosychracies, familiarity and contempt, flashes of enlightenment, beatings, vomit, and impossible vistas.  All of it culminates in a realization that, even though you don’t always act like it, you harbor unfathomable gratitude towards everyone who, almost mysteriously, still gives a shit about you.
