I might be acting vain by assuming this is about Tumblepedia. I created Tumblepedia to account for the lack of permanancy and availability of information in the medium of tumblelogs. There is a Tumblr culture: full of history, norms, and social context. By classifying that, Tumblepedia is neither acting as a negative or positive influence, unless you’re willing to claim Wikipedia is making the world a worse place by having articles detail wars and murderers. If you’re critical of what might come out of the minds of Tumblr users, don’t participate in the culture.

I’m going through and editing entries that are just slander and insults and changing them to things based in fact. Including my own, because there was some haterade on there and I don’t want it in my Google search. LOL.

Yeah, it was amusing to read the recent updates and see that 2/3 of them were “removed ad hominem attacks” or “edited out slanderous statements.”
